This product allows you to convert three pairs of your favorite high-heeled shoes to dance shoes with suede soles. You can also use it to replace the worn-out suede soles of your existing
dance shoes. Dancers prefer suede soles because suede has ideal friction properties for
dancing on well-maintained and clean wood dance floors. However, for
dancing on any other type of floor, we recommend our other Soles2dance
products (see Product Selector at our web site). If you do intend to dance on well-maintained, clean wood dance floors, then this product is right for you.
Compared to other add-on suede dance soles on the market, our product has the advantage that it comes with industrial-strength adhesive backing. You only have to peel off the protective foil from the backing and stick the soles on. Our competitors' products without adhesive backing require you to glue the soles on -- a messy and tricky procedure. You also have to buy that glue and learn how to apply it properly. None of that is necessary with our stick-on soles with industrial-strength adhesive backing. These suede soles are cut by a sophisticated, computer-controlled laser cutting machine that provides much greater precision than hand-cutting. As a result, we can show the exact dimensions of each sole on this product page, so you don't have to guess whether the soles will be large enough for your shoes. SUEDE-DIY-3pk is a pack of three large sheets of premium suede, each sheet of size 8.5 in x 12 in (21.6 cm x 30.5 cm) with a thickness of 3/64 inch (1.2 mm). The sheets have a backing of 3M industrial-strength double-sided adhesive, the strongest double-sided adhesive available. SUEDE-DIY-3pk is the most cost-effective way to make your own suede soles. To get started, you trace the outside of your shoe's sole on the adhesive side of the suede sheet with a marker and then cut it out yourself. You can thus design the most efficient use of the material and you keep the scraps.
